Our Privacy Pledge to Riders
RideLog BD was built by motorcycle enthusiasts for riders. We never sell, monetize, or rent your personal information, ride itineraries, or document scans to third-party ad networks or brokers. Your data is used strictly to power your bike's mileage statistics, engine oil reminders, and group tour communication.
1. Information We Collect
To deliver precision mileage tracking, service diagnostics, and group tour connectivity, we collect the following categories of information:
When signing up with Email or Google Authentication, we collect your name, email address, profile avatar, and unique Firebase user ID (UID).
Motorcycle details (make, model, registration number, odometer readings), fuel refill logs (liters, costs, stations), maintenance history, and conveyance allowances.
Precise GPS coordinates captured during active ride sessions and group tours to compute live speed, route elevation, trip distance, and nearby fuel stations.
Private vehicle document scans (driving license, tax token, insurance) stored for reminder notifications, and microphone audio streams for WebRTC rider intercom.
2. Background Location Access & Prominent Disclosure

RideLog BD utilizes background location (ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION) strictly when you manually start an active ride or group tour:
- Continuous Route Recording: Records continuous trip distance, elevation, and speed even when your phone screen is locked or while using turn-by-turn navigation.
- Group Tour Rider Safety: Broadcasts live member positions on the tour map so group riders stay connected and don't get lost on remote highways.
- No Background Tracking When Idle: GPS tracking stops immediately the moment you click "End Ride" or exit your tour group. We never track your location in the background when the app is idle.
3. Data Security, Cloud Sync & Offline Storage
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal data:

In full compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play data privacy standards, you maintain absolute ownership over your personal data:
You can permanently delete your entire account, profile, fuel logs, service receipts, and vehicle documents at any time from inside the app by going to:
Profile > Permanently Delete Account & Data
This instantly purges all records from active Firestore databases and local memory.
You can also email our support team at waliitsolution@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Our automated systems will verify and purge all associated records within 24–48 hours.
